I love Jott
I have been looking to beef up my organizational skills and for me that translated into getting used to making the dreaded “To Do List” and actually sticking to it. I was looking for the right program to keep my to dos safely online, in an account of some sort (so that I could access it in any city, on any computer). So when Chad sent me the link to Jott, I was very excited. Not only can you make lists and prioritize them in an online account… get this: you can call Jott’s phone number and leave voice notes that are almost instantly transcribed and added to your to do list. How awesome is that?
The basic package is free for now but there is an upgrade version for around $12/mo. Here is a interesting review over at Tech Review.
5 Excuses To Not Join Twitter
Hubspot wrote a great post on the Top 5 reasons people do not join Twitter. To paraphrase:
-
1. It’s a waste of time for businesses.
-
2. Why do I need to know this nonesense?
-
3. My customers aren’t on Twitter. Or, my industry is too niche for Twitter.
-
4. It takes too much time.
-
5. I don’t want to give people an opportunity to say negative things about me and my company.
Read why these excuses are false.
